This is my gold & black Casio Duro, which I ended up picking up at Wal*Mart for about $60. Honestly, it was obviously a steal and a no-brainer. It's easily the most affordable and durable divers watch on the market. However, I was not impressed by the stock rubber strap. So I matched it with a Cheapest Nato, Nato strap with gold hardware. (Can you tell I LOVE Cheapest Nato?) My only gripe with this watch is the lume is a bit lackluster.

The watch looks great especially for that price, but you almost have to expect that with Casio.
As for the issue about the lume there’s a fight going on in one of @Aurelian last posts on the importance of lume. 😂
Mine says hi! 👋😊 I am also very enthusiastic about this super value big chonker 😆👍
My dad just turned 80 and he is very hard on watches. Just gave him one. He loves it. Holding up well lol
I love my automatics but I just ordered one from Amazon for an analog grab and go piece to go along with my g-shock that serves the same in digital form.

I ended up selling mine about a month ago, for $60 through my auction site. I kinda miss it..

Why did you decide to sell it?

Just wasn't getting enough wrist time honestly, and it just fell to the wayside more often than not. Was a great piece though.
I also don’t like the stock band, so I decided to try it on one of Marc‘s LIW universal bracelets. I think it looks quite good. Given that the bracelet cost about the same as the Duro, I didn’t buy it solely for this watch.
The leather strap with gold deployment buckle gives the Duro a more premium look and feel. Almost didn't wear it one day while looking for a beater watch in my collection case because it looked too nice...then thought...wait a minute no let me put this on what am I thinking...THIS IS my beater watch lol

Ya know, I ended up selling it... And I kind of regret it.
Quite easily the best beater watch going. Lose it at the beach or off the boat or didn't get the crown completely screwed down? Go to Wal-Mart buy more beer, and throw your new Duro in the cart too!
