Could Rolex price their watches at Grey Market price before they leave their boutiques, so instead of a new Daytona rrp been £11,500 (ish) they start at £25,000, would you still buy them?

No. At MSRP they are already overpriced compared to Omega feature to feature. With the development of Rolex buying Bucherer, there might be a chance I’ll consider the brand again. But for too long it has not been worth the time and effort to try to buy from an AD. The alternative of dealing with people as openly questionable as the Timepiece ‘Gentleman’ is nauseating.
