The lugs are actually not very far apart and you have to take 4 screws out to access them. I notched a leather strap for my 5600 to fit there because a narrow nato would look funny. Plastic straps will rot off those things.
Since way long time ago, Jay and Kay's is my go to for Casio stuff.
Just ordered an adapter set from them for my GX56. I think they might be the only company that makes them specifically for individual models. Haven't had luck with any "universal" adapters from amazon/ebay in the past.
