The watch I got married in
The Seiko Presage “Side Car” SSA346J1. That’s the watch I got married in. It was a total surprise to me that my wife bought this watch for me to wear on our wedding day. She doesn’t even care much about watches! That makes me appreciate the thought of her buying this even more.
This is the watch I bought her. The classic Cartier Tank.
I’m a watch guy so this was a no brainer. It took little to no brain power for me to pull the trigger on this. Classic design? Check! Quartz so she doesn’t need to wind? Check! lol
All in all, I am so blessed to have a wife that stands by me through it all. All the watch window shopping at ADs. All the countless podcasts and videos of watch reviews. And lastly…all the watches 😂🤣
It took a lot of thought from her to buy my watch for our special day. And I’ll cherish it forever. Thanks for reading 🤙🏽

Great story! I love seeing when a significant other gifts a watch. According to my wife there is no f-ing chance I will ever buy you a watch! She’s tried a few times but she doesn’t really get case size and lug to lug so each one she’s tried has been VERY small. It is a beautiful watch and I can tell she took her time and loved with this one, it is very unique and not the typical line from Seiko that jumps out at regular people looking for watches.

Since then I bought her a Nomos Club Campus and a Norqain Adventure Sport. All her choosing lol. She’s still not crazy into watches but at least she knows what a fashion watch is and despises them 🤣

Same here!!! She makes me wind it for her 😂😂😂 our labor is still better than her wearing a fashion watch IMO 🤣
