Back from service, toasting the weekend with bourbon and cigar on my porch.

Rainy Friday. Again. Appreciating life with cigar on a rainy Friday. First time I’ve sent a watch for service and loving that it’s returned. It’s better than I remember the watch. Maybe I’m making that up. Swiss Only 14270. Devoted to this watch. Cheers to all. HAGWE😎😃

Thank you. I missed the watch. Very much. Glad it’s back. It is emblematic of what has become the collecting emotional experience. Sappy but true. Cheers to you 😎😃

I can understand, I have had watches and clocks serviced by a local shop and the wait can be trying, I can imagine the added time of sending it off for service.

Maybe unique to watch collecting—never had these emotions about an object I’ve owned before. I am familair with the wait when one orders a watch—the wait. Humorous. But this is vastly another thing entirely. 😬😃
