got mine a few days ago and I love how simple, symmetrical, and legible the dial is. I bought it as a daily wear for work and now I don't worry much about scratches as it doesn't have polished flanks (previously wearing bb58 and superocean). I feel like it's a very versatile watch. I've changed straps to a black saffiano leather, whiskey-ish brown, and a very dark olive and all works well.
I like it a lot, especially the DLC version. I've been thinking for a while about getting a Flieger from Archimede and now I have one more option to consider. What resonates with me in the Pilot 200 is:
good dimensions for my wrist (17cm)
well-positioned date (I hate date at 3)
hardened steel
simple dial layout, but with a touch of color
the crown seems nice and easy to operate
solid lume
I does, however, look a lot like the Damasko DS/DK30, which I'm also considering. Too many options!

Can you please tell me about the dial? Where does it fall between matte black/gray and inky enamel (like a 556)? Thanks!

It's definitely more on the black side than grey and I'd say it's matte compare to the inky, glossy(ish) on a 556. I've tried a 556 and it's a definitely a good watch but the date kills it for me.
I'm going to get myself the Klassik 200 for an upcoming anniversary, but was contemplating this too for a long while. Unfortunately it doesn't have a screw down crown, which makes more of a sturdy everyday watch than a tool watch. I think they've hit the "modern flieger"-look quite a lot better than say Sinn, Dekla or Damasko with the Flieger 200 though.
The 200-series is the perfect everyday watches except from the non-screw down crown. Really looking forward to mine!

I have the white klassik 200. A great looking watch. Even without the screw down crown it has 200m water resistance and a hardened steel case.

Looks a lot like a Sinn watch. I'm not the biggest fan of "homages" watches or watches easily confused for another watch.
Very clean, flieger-style watch. I like the pop of orange, but in general there’s only so much you can do to “spruce up” a flieger.
I like it a lot.
And I have a Sinn!
I think it looks great, definitely the orange second hand.

Same hear, infact I have an Archimede 42 sterile dial too. So I know this will be a well made watch.
This will have to be investigated further now I have been made aware of it's existence.
