Did you end up buying the Mark XX? I'm having a look at these two now and looks like we have similar wrist size (16cm). Prefer the mark xx on a leather strap.

Congrats! What's your wrist size? Did the long L2L bother you? I have a 16cm wrist and tried one on a bracelet and felt big. Also tried with the leather and it feels better. I actually prefer the downswept lugs of the Mark XX than the straight-ish lugs of the Spitfire.

Wow, have not seen one comment about that robustness! That's a dressy piece you wouldn't worry too much then. 100m of wr plus that toughness - screams so much of a good daily driver for me. Awesome info! Thanks!
