Updated design from previous post

Someone commented on my last post that the lugs were too short for the end link to fit. I thought it was a good point and spent some time updating the design making the lugs longer. Wanted to reply to the comment, but it got deleted:( So here is the updated render with slightly longer lugs. I think it looks better this way. Thanks for the suggestion and what do you think?

I really like the look of this. I missed your original post but this looks great. I like how the crown is nestled in the crown guards maybe just make sure the crown is easy to grip and comes out a bit from those guards so it’s easy to turn when needed. Is this something you’re looking to market or is this just a fun exercise?

Hey, thanks! Glad you like it. I was envisioning the screw-down crown for this and made the crown guards about 2mm thinner than the diameter of the crown, so there is enough top and bottom grip I think. Here is the side view:

I do this just for fun for now. Not gonna lie, I do fantasize about creating my own micro-brand sometimes. But the level of commitment and risk this implies scares me a bit. But definitely not off the table. Maybe when I'm retired or if good opportunity presents itself. Who knows....

Looks great! I was the one who commented yesterday. Sorry, it was deleted by accident. I really like the angles on your design.

For some reason I couldn’t see the first image. But that looks and sounds great. I know what you mean about the risks involved. I’m very comfortable with my life just now and enjoy this hobby, I don’t think I’d be willing to risk that either. If you ever do decide to though I think this would do well.

Didn't see original image but this is a beauty by all accounts, congratulations on creating a piece of living art 💜 (Not sure why a heart this colour appeared, a special sort of watch love!).

Well deserved! Well done!

If it's called the traveler, shouldn't it be a gmt? Or world timer? The miyota 9075 would be a great choice.

Yeah, I actually played around with a GMT design for it. Put the 24 hour track on the rehaut, but didn't like it. I'll try the bezel, but something tells me it's going to ruin the look. Maybe I should just change the name:)
