Purchase Query

Hi guys,

In talks with a seller of an SPB239,

Listed with box and papers and warranty until July.

He’s got the receipt from the AD, but 2 things in the pictures are holding me back.

Firstly, the box is not the one that the spb239 normally ships in (I feel like ADs often provide display boxes with purchases instead of the typical so this one isn’t a huge surprise)

But the booklet is for 4R series movement, not 6R.

Seller is a native German speaker so we’re using google translate as a middleman, but he seems legit. (Haven’t queried this with him yet as not sure how much of a watch guy he is).

Does this kind of thing with the box and papers happen with Seikos bought from ADs?

I bought my SPB207J1 from a AD in Chrono24 last year, , the watch came with the black cardboard box and the instructions for the 6R35 movement and guarantee.

This has always been the case with the other Seiko I bought new, one from Internet and another from a local AD, many years ago.

Ask the seller, maybe he is mixing booklets from another watch. It's strange the AD would make that mistake.
