Raymond Weil Millesime

I’ve never given the brand a second thought but this new release got me smitten, specifically the versions with the small seconds. Beautiful sector dial, goldilocks sizing at such an attractive price point.

Personally am partial to the light grey colorway.. Weil owners, how’s your experience with their timepieces?

Cheers

Missed that development! Right, I’m keen on seeing it in the metal

Damn Raymond Weil, didn’t know you were making watches like that

My first (semi) luxury watch purchase several decades ago. Still no complaints.

Love that design. It’s like a Calatrava with Breguet lugs.

Wow looks pristine for its age!

My first swiss watch is a RW Maestro. Picked it up in 2012 on a trip to Europe. Didn't know much about watches back then but the look of this one was perfect for me. Small seconds dial, sweet dial design, blued hands and roman numerals still grab my attention.

My collection has grown quite a bit over last 10 years and my taste has changed (mostly due to a career change which has me out of the office environment) but the RW remains my one "dressy" watch. I won't sell it.

Here's a shot:

How does it sit on the wrist? I’ve been looking at this too but never had the chance to try it in person. Curious to know how it’ll sit on a 6.5-inch wrist 😁

Because it’s quite flat and the lugs are long it doesn’t really hug the wrist at all but it’s also quite thin so I don’t mind. But I’ve got a 7” wrist and to be honest it’s borderline for me. But I just love how it looks.

Thanks for your valuable input! I had a concern that the 48.5mm L2L might have been an overstretch for me and if it sits flat, then that would be an issue for my 6.5-inc wrist. It's a bummer because this is a great world timer especially with the green and bronze!

Yeah it does look amazing but I would hesitate to recommend it because of those lugs. Mido have got a nice Worldtimer that I was going to go for untill I found this.
