I have a few San Martins now. My first one, an early 62 MAS homage, was just ok. The last two I bought, their rendition of an explorer and a ranger, have really impressed me. The fit and finish is on par or better than some Japanese (I'm looking at you Seiko) and Swiss. I'm really impressed and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

SM is doing what seiko used to. Be better for less. Except it’s homaging. They have started to create a few original designs Which I’ve got my eye on.
