Thank you Miguel.. it is quite special to me. Apart from being my first Timex (as an adult), it was made in the Scottish factory not too far from where I was born.

And rightly so..being from Portugal, hard to get that factory connection with birthplace (not a lot of watch industry here) but can get the feeling. Always good to have a special watch for certain reasons that happens to be beautiful on top!

Hi Mark. The factory closed in the 90s after a period of strike action, but it's a fascinating story. You should check it out if your interested in Timex.

I’ve already started to dig in! I do like going down the history rabbit holes as well as new finds. There a new watch startup here in Colorado that will be producing watches here. I can’t wait to tour their facility. 🤝
