Alternatives? Probably quite a number, depending on why you like the watch. If in doubt, I would probably try to build something. But the dial printing is unusual, with Roman numerals in a modern font. That may be not that easy to find.

Okay - I like this idea! Could you give me some examples?
B) In and around that price range, I would suggest taking a look at Schaumburg. The website is in full German and horrific to navigate, but they handmake and hand engrave pieces at a crazy affordable price point. Here’s a Unikatoriom Classic III available on Chrono24 for just above USD$2000:
A bit more classically styled, but really insane quality for the price point.

Yes, it turns out that the dial is more unusual than I thought. Roman numerals don't seem to be popular, and most dials with Roman numerals I find have fonts similar to Cartier watches, not the clean minimalist look of the Sinn Klassik. Also a recessed, but undecorated, center part in combination with roman numerals is not that easy to find.
But maybe I'm thinking about the wrong way, and should check lesser known German watch manufacturers first...
The more I look at the Sinn's dial, the more I like the tension between the plain font and the traditional watch hands.
How does it wear? The case size 36mm and lug to lug is 42? Maybe like a datejust 36? Or larger due to bigger dial ?
I too am in market for used one. I see the 1746 available more often but still a not commonly sold piece
Thanks

I have a 6.3 inch wrist for reference. Because it’s all dial, the watch has a bit more presence than a typical 36MM. It definitely wears like a dress watch though. I still love the look of it! I just don’t wear dress watches enough 😢

Very nice indeed.
If that's what you have set your heart nothing else will do...

That’s the fear. What if I can’t find one in good shape?

This doesn't portray the look I think of when I think of Sinn watches at all! 😭
