We already had this discussion before and the reasons for the variety are due to the differences in length of the clasps and the shape and circumference of our wrists. Therefore finding the perfect fit with the clasp centered on the underside of the wrist can result in a uneven number of links on each side of the bracelet.

Makes no difference as long as it fits and the watch is centered on the top of my wrist.
A normal wrist is assymetrical and higher on the 12a clock side, so a bracelet must also be assymetrical to have the lock center under the wrist!
