Got one of these exactly the same recently on the metal bracelet, which was a real struggle to remove links to fit. Still, it is a fine watch and a bargain to boot. Your first photo seems to show a graininess on the black dial, but mine is smooth and a matt finish-a trick of the light maybe with yours.

In bright light or light magnification the dial does have a light pebbled finish on the dial

Ohhhh the white dial version of this is still in my basket to check out but haven’t fully pulled the trigger yet!! That’s nice!!
