Rolex dials

I've noticed this a few times, but what is going on with rolex dials and has no one told them this is wrong?

Noticed what a few times? 🤔

Normally if the 4 is upside-down then the 6 would be as well, or if the 6 is the right way up then the 4 would be as well.

Wow! Good eye, I didn’t see it until you mentioned it!

·

Side note, did the (1,3,5,7,9,11) dial ever take off?

Ahhhh, can’t speak to it; what reference is that watch? It just may be a counterfeit.

No. It looked odd.

That's a 15200 right? Rolex in the 80s was weird design wise. Wood dials, Domino's pizza logos...the entire thing.

I kinda miss those days of Rolex but watchmaking wasn't quite as buttoned up and luxury focused as it is today.

I'm not sure what reference number it is, maybe we could get nico on it. I keep seeing these dials so I don't think it's fake but my grail watch is a Rolex OP blue dial with the fluted bezel, but I'm not sure if they ever made them in 36mm + sizes.

I think you should write to them and tell them that Cyclops is just wrong and shouldn't be on a watch.
