Next watch choices

I’m torn between these three watches.

I know I want a dive watch as my next watch. The quartz/auto/selfwind/solar isn’t a massive issue to me. IE it isn’t a deal breaker either way.

I’m currently most drawn to the Timex but that can change on an hourly basis if I’m honest.

I do have a rotary GMT which I adore so the Rotary Seamatic I know will have a lovely braclet and probably a slightly better overall finish.

Anyone any experience with the Timex Harbormaster (I have no experience with Timex) and I’ve seen quite a few YouTube reviews of the Steeldive.

Any thoughts on personal experiences would be appreciated.

Steeldives are a great value. Seiko movements, sapphire crystal, ceramic bezel inserts, etc. Timex has some great vintage looking stuff as well.

Go for the Steeldive. It's very good for the money and Steeldive don't skimp much on their best seller.

I have the SD1970 & it's been great.

Terrific value watch.

Only minor gripe was the crown was a bit on the gritty side. Lube fixed that.

I do like that Rotary.

I have three Timex & they've all been solid.

My Weekender has survived all kinds of minor abuse & is going on year number 8.

Steeldive. Got 2, both excellent.

From the three you selected, maybe the steeldive. But none really jumps out. Although I would consider a citizen promaster diver or seiko (willard, too expensive, but a SRPH15K1) equivalent instead of the steeldive.Or, the casio duro MDV-107D-1A1V (big)...

From the Swatchgroup, there are plenty divers that might also suit your taste. Check out Mido Oceanstar (many variations), Certina DS action diver(s), and Tissot Seastar (less fancy, better priced).

In my opinion, all three are absolutely mediocre watches. If you don't have anything against Chinese watches, and judging by your photo, you probably don't mind the cheerful colors, the first thing that comes to mind is to get the proxima watch PX1703, with them you will get more value per dollar. they also have other colors that are calmer. but the main thing is the complex of what you get, there will even be an enamel dial. good luck getting a really good deal. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Proxima_Centauri ;)

P.S. Of your three, it seems to me that Timex will have the worst materials and finish.
