Greetings fellow watch nuts.
Hello. Just a quick note to introduce myself. I collect watches.. not sure if it's a hobby or a sickness. (I'm leaning towards the latter) I've always worn a watch. Received my first one when I was 11 for my confirmation... a Longines Wittnauer. For some unknown reason I went crazy about 10 years ago and started collecting watches. I have over 100 now... Sometimes more than one of the same type of watch... Everything from Rolex the Timex. A third of my collection are vintage watches from the 40s and 50s. Lately I've been enamored with military/pilot/field watches. I'm retired now. (former law enforcement, former military) I would love to be a watchmaker but I don't have the patience. I do regulate all my mechanical watches change my own batteries and do very very minor repairs if needed.

I have a guy who's been doing it for 30 years so I've picked up a few things. I can do it if I had to but it's so tedious and I just don't have the patience for it.

Yup... I wear a different one every day so I'll try to post pics of what's on my wrist.
