An old reliable friend

Arguably the first addition to my collection, back in 2015 (post-AC, the ‘Age of Casio’).

I don’t see much of this brand these days and still have learnt little from what information is online. I believe they go by just ‘LLarsen’ now. This quartz model was a decent price at the time considering it was a Swiss movement, Danish design and a robust sapphire face. a versatile model which up until 2023, was my only watch and thus my daily watch.

Like it, you can’t beat a nice crisp, clinical Bauhaus inspired dial 👍🏻

Increasingly I assign great value and nostalgia to items that I regarded lightly or not at all as a younger person. I must be a true watch enthusiast because there has never been a period when the mass produced products did not fascinate, intrigued me. Thx for sharing the image of your timepiece.

Very nice minimalist ish style lol

I would have preferred a black date wheel but I’m a nut

That case style reminds me of watches from the 1960's, with the thin lugs. Nice! 👍

Scandinavian minimalism it has, but it clearly suffers from "big watch/little movement" syndrome as evidenced by how centrally located the small seconds and date aperture are. I don't think I've ever seen a red-tipped small seconds hand before. And the lugs do appear to arch properly.
