hello fellow cruncher few days ago i've got a chance to go on a trip with my gf to singapore just for two days. i ve been to singapore before long time ago so its gonna be an exciting experience to see the new face of singapore.
first day we arrived at jewel changi station, man i heard lately singapore got some crazy architecture building, this jewel changi airport is one of them. there is a waterfall goes down on the top side of the roof like those in pict.
been living in a rural area have made me confused about mrt system, i got to studied for a while lol. i stayed in the orchard area, its the shopping heaven for tourist and also fellow singaporeans, there are a lot of watch boutique nearby like rolex, tissot longiness at the orchard area but i didnt manage to visit it yet.
next stop is go to marina bay area, its a beautiful place surounded by the ocean. mosty consist of hotel and mall.
We managed to go to the marina bay mall, and there is a canal inside the mall. how crazy is that.
there is a lot of watch boutique here also just outside of the casino area. thats clever if you managed to win you can spent the money on the watch 😂. there is rolex boutique, brequet, breitling, audemars piquet, rado, panerai, jlc, etc.
panerai boutique.
i've been a fan of a tank watch and this dolce vita is awesome. its not too expensive too.
always love captain cook from rado, i also spot a few ceramica model but to be honest im not a fan. to put all ceramic material on the bracelet and case made the watch feel too glossy and cheap in my opinion.
and the highlight is always gonna be the jlc reverso. this is the first time im looking at the real piece and its so much more nice than the pict or video i ever seen, i wish someday i could save some money to buy one, and then we go back to the hotel.
i spot many people wearing a nice watch at all of the public place, mostly a diver like seiko, pagani design, tag heuer aquaracer, etc. i guess most singaporean got a good taste about wristwatch.
on the second day we strolling around the mall inside the orchard area. i spot a few of the seiko and casio shop around this area. few pict that i snap on the seiko boutique.
this king seiko are awesome gada watch, its a strap monster too.
and ther is a tuna on the display as well, they also recognize seiko fanboy called them a tuna😀. its a funny interaction between manufacture and their consumer.
next stop is lunch at singapore botanical garden, this area consist of many spectacular landed house (landed house are very expensive here from what i heard) packed with many supercar. we take a lunch at bee's knee's cafe, its a old colonial building from previous area. and what a better things to do to end a journey than take a sip on cold tiger beer.
at the end its a fun journey for me, i never go to the watch boutique before (most of my purchase are from online store) and its nice sometimes to take a look at the real things. i got this magazine as a souvenir i guess from this trip, hope i can finished reading it.
so have you been travelled somewhere interesting lately?
here are some bonus pict at some monitor lizard inside botanical park 😂

Yes! I am. Born and raised here. High Five!
Great pix and trip!! Thanks for posting! I'm visiting Singapore in March. What area do you recommend to stay in? Did you get around mostly with the light rail system in the city?
I'm excited to see the heavy concentration of interesting and rare watches and dealers I've not seen before!
My last trip was Japan several months ago:

thx sir. my knowledge are limited, so i just speaks from my experience. if you want to spent alot on hotel visit marina bay area, if you look for more affordable option visit orchard road. both of them got a plenty watch dealer in their nearby area. but the most concetrated dealer are on marina bay sands mall near the casino area. its pretty simple mrt system actually, there are just 3 or 4 lane. you can buy an mrt card or just use credit card for using the mrt. both orchard and marina got a plenty of good food and bar. but if you prefer more old school like bar and food please visit dempsey hill, clarke quay, chinatown, and haji lane. i like the vibe there
