Pagani Design steals Pictures from Teddy Baldassarre

The german youtuber Kai Leingang (watchvice) made a video of Amazon Copy Cats. With a budget of 1K he ordered several copy watches from famous originals to review them.

Randomly he found out, that Pagani Design uses pictures from Teddy Baldassarre on Amazon holding the original Rolex but editing the picture by changing the brand logo on the dial.

Similar on another picture where he found out that Pagani uses the original pictures from Rolex by changing the Name and Logo on the dial.

Here's the video, but in german of course.

The stoles pictures were just a side note. The video is mostly about the ordering process and the reviewing.

I have a Pagani, it was cheap and I wasn’t expecting much but it has become a staple in my weekly watch rotation. Real Sapphire glass, a seiko VK63 mega quarts movement. I love it. All for less than $70.

The reviews on that video, I can tell you so far, were also overall positive.

So it was no negative judging on the products only about stealing the pictures

I don’t think anyone should be surprised by this. Copying designs is just part of the game

It's quite common for Chinese AE sellers to rip off pictures, most often of the original watches, to then Photoshop them, adding their own logo. Sometimes they're quite sloppy about it. I've seen more than one "Submariner" where you can still clearly see the mirror image of the Rolex branding on the rehaut. Or even Casio:

I've thought about getting the mission to Alaska version (the red pagani speedmaster)... I want to add a meca quartz movement and like the look of a red bezel chronograph.

In This case I’d say the Pagani hands down is the better watch, unless you like plastic watches that won’t last 3 months on wrist 💁🏻‍♂️😂. I only have my 1 Pagani but I can say it’s been extremely durable, no scratches on the sapphire, the bracelet has held up, and I’ve taken it swimming in the Atlantic and have not had any water issues either. 💁🏻‍♂️

Also this VK63 movement has been lovely. 🤌🏻

Pagani copying stuff? I’m stunned…

;)

I don’t like homages, but the quality of the Pagani Design watches is very good, other than the bracelets. The Moonswatch look alike is way better and cheaper than the plastic Moonswatch.

Well if you ever decide to get a homage, Pagani over Invicta everyday of the week lol.

I have two of those - use them as beaters - nothing wrong with that watch. Pagani rocks and every dollar they get (or the Japanese) is less money for the Swiss —-Today.

I like this one - but looks more like the Swatch x Omega AK project. I might sport the one with the black bezel
