Found this while moving...

Found this buried in my daughter's closet while we were packing up the last remnants of our old house. (We've been moved into the new house for about a month now, but we only just now finished getting all of the little stuff out of the old house.)

  • It's an Accutime watch (which I have reviewed in the past) so I doubt it has even the slightest bit of water resistance.

  • But it IS a Seiko movement (PC21J) so it's probably worth reviving. (It needs a battery.)

I will let you guys know how it turns out. (Hopefully, the old battery hasn't leaked / rusted out the movement.)

Upon revival, it will go back to my daughter's watchbox. 😃

That one's a keeper.

What you do it put it in a nice watch box and gift it back to your daughter 🤣

It was never not hers... I could have just put it on her desk in its non-working state and washed my hands of it. But I wanted to see if I could make it functional again for her. 😀 My personal rule (and it's a rule I have taught to my kids as well) is that non-functional watches CANNOT be placed in the watch box. Watches that are part of the collection need to be usable and in working order. 😎

Makes sense. I should have said get it working, then put it into a box

Ah, ok, yeah, I see now. We are in agreement. That's exactly what I intend to do. 😎
