Good things come without threes

I MUST love this watch if I bought it despite my usual inability to tolerate watches which have the three replaced by a date window. I love the patterned dial, the shape of the indices, the blueness of dial and band, the exhibition caseback, the feel of it on my wrist, and  having my first Hamilton.

It’s funny how we can overlook things like that. I really don’t like a white date on a dark dial, but I love my PRX and rarely notice the white date on blue dial. Sometimes a watch is just done in a way that overcomes these rules we make for ourselves. Enjoy.

I think that is one of my favorite date windows. Just how asymmetrical it is and gives it like a 3D effect.

I have bought some watches that were compelling enough that I overlooked an awkward or out of place date window.
