If you had to have just one watch ?

Had this conversation with @Barringtonchud and my own answer surprised me . Cos it’s this Seiko Tuna . I love automatic watches . I’ve certainly got some more exotic watches, but this tuna is a design classic and a totally dependable timepiece. Amd

Until you’ve worn one , you won’t realise how wearable they are. And let’s face it - I’m never going to be in an environment beyond it’s abilities

Love to say my SM300, but for day to day my best is by far my Quartz Aqua Terra, the ultimate GADA IMHO.

Just one watch? I would say my Citizen Chandler eco drive chronograph. It has date, solar charging, nice lume, chronograph, 100m WR, and is analog. Everything I need!

Mine is this Seiko SNE573. Solar, 200m and great lume. The quartz/solar combo to me is the most convenient watch type out there. I own a few automatics and I definitely appreciate their quality and engineering, but quartz always wins in my book with their ease of use, etc.

This can never happen, it's like saying there will only be one Pierogi at a Polish holiday celebration.

I speak Polish, back in the day when I was learning my teacher pointed out the fact that in the U.S. people pluralize Pierogi to Pierogi's but the word Pierogi is already plural. So I asked my teacher what the word is if there is only one, she said there is never one. But if you want to know if there is only one, the word is Pieroga. She went on to say I could promptly forget that word because it is never going to happen.

Like Pierogi, there is never one watch.
