Amazon wishlist.

In this modern age of practically instantly obtaining what we desire, apps like Amazon have added storefronts to our pockets. I am almost embarrassed  at the amount of time I have spent perusing watches on Amazon just to add them to an ever growing wishlist. The range goes from the likes of Timex and Casio to Bell and Ross and Tissot. I am sure there are many of you who would rather buy from a watch specific seller or dealer, but do you use Amazon as a tool for the sheer variety available? I wanted to post a link to the wishlist so anyone could  compare tastes and such, but man does that open me up for criticism, there may be a fashion watch on there for God's  sake!

Does anyone else have a gargantuan  list of watches they would like to own or am I the only one dreaming too big?

An afterthought-

In reality my watch collection is very minuscule with a around ten altogether. I'm  overall not a materialistic person, but watches have brought that aspect out in me. I would love to own many watches, though eventually, I would think it would be good to get in to trading.

Great post! I personally buy a lot from Amazon and also from ebay. If it weren't for the times we live, i would most definitely prefer to do most of my shopping from local ADs so that I can develop a healthy relationship with them and also meet in person other watch enthusiasts. I would still buy used vintage pieces from ebay auctions though..

I didn't  even think about how developing a good relationship  with your local watch shop is a key factor to shopping in person. I would think that a good watch shop would start to recognize your likes and be able to even call you up if something up your alley came around. I developed a relationship  lIke this with a video game shop years ago when I was very much into rarer games, that I never played once I got them anyway lol.

On the vintage aspect, there have been loads kf vintage designs J fell in love with, but just couldn't  bring myself to buy because I know they would need a lot of work. Usually oddities like the Spaceman. It is crazy angular. Or say a vintage Nixon rotolog. Even if serviced, would they accurately  hold time?

Between watches, camping gear, hiking gear, and weird blu-rays, my Amazon wish list is almost pornographic.
