This is my Citizen AO9000-06B, and the thought re-occured to me once again; can i have lume and solar together?
Pardon my ignorance on the terminology, but whatever it’s called, electric glow, indiglo, super luminated, boogaloo—has/can it be combined with solar powered tech? I only did a quick search on Citizen’s site and didn’t find anything.
If this hasn’t been done yet, can someone explain why?

Dang, do I get a badge for stumping WC?
I don't see why regular lume and solar shouldn't be able to work together, but there may be a reason for not being able to use an indiglo style light with a solar charged watch.

But the reason. I must know it. I need to know why I'm being denied my spring drive movement solar powered indiglo GADA steel sports watch under $1k!!!
look at G-Shock - "tough solar" - if you accept the style.

So they do exist! But I guess there’s just not enough demand out there that they’d expand it to different model types beside the Pro Trek or G-Shock. Well, dang for now.
Thanks so much!
My Casio MT-G M9000 has a backlight and is solar powered. It's also radio controlled and uglier than homemade sin.

See, why can’t there be the combined tech into a more aesthetically pleasing package?

Maybe you can talk Mark at Long Island Watches into making one for his Islander line. He recently did hid American Quartz watches.
