It’s interesting that you mention the PanoramaDatum. Since Glashütte Original (GO) is the legitimate successor to the GUB, A. Lange & Söhne had to turn to JLC to utilize their big date patent. That’s why in a Glashütte Original, the date wheels are on the same plane, whereas in a Lange, they’re on two separate planes. This is also why ALS frames their date windows, attempting to conceal the difference in depth between the two numerals. Cheers, Alex!
