Thanks Tony! So what's your opinion on a type B flieger like your Laco? I've been eyeballing a Islander type B.
I never liked them. I thought they looked way too complicated and the backwards hours minutes inside out thing really threw me off. However, I’ve only been wearing it a couple of days. Pretty damn cool the more you look at it the more it’s easier to read incredibly legible Love the basic black-and-white flat sapphire. It fits really nice and 40 mm. I don’t know that I would like bigger than that. I’ll give my full review at the end of the month but so far I’m impressed and the loom is as good as my tutors and better than some of my seiko

Interesting. I can't wait for your full review. Specifically if you change your opinion on the dial. I feel that because it is so jam packed and busy, it could become tiresome. If that makes sense?

It's interesting that you can simultaneously think it's awkward looking aestheticly and it's very intuitive to read. For me, while I own neither, A and B fliegers feel like they're just prioritizing the legibility of the hours and minutes respectively. It's just that prioritizing the legibility of the minutes is very uncommon across analog watches, so it comes off as a bit strange. It really does seem to work though.

Yeah, it took me like a day. I mean we’re always reading the minute track the the same it’s really looking inward for what damn hour it is. lol Once you have it on for about 48 hours, so it’s second nature It’s a tool watch and it definitely has the functionality it was designed for.

I love that every other numeral lume I’ve been looking at those patina dials set up like that. Super nice 🌟
