The beads move free and I can touch them. The are hold by magnets on the indication position. But if I move the watch to fast, the spin free in the lane until the magnets catch them again. The quartz is actually just moving the magnets underneath

That's a valid point! If dirt enters the lanes, then the beads cannot move. And the watch isn't that WR... so you'veto clean very carefully. . So, it's not a watch for a dirty environment. Dust isn't a problem
