First post on WatchCrunch.... pleasant surprise

Like most I really enjoy YouTube watch reviews.  Many times I notice a certain entry level watch receiving high praise.  Which in return has me like "what is all the fuss about" or "that looks hideous". This is how I felt about the Tissot PRX, a entry level Swiss made watch with a retro style that should have stayed in the 70's.

Welp I was wrong. Received one as a gift and haven't taken it off since.  It has quickly beat out some of my more expensive pieces as my daily driver. What are some of your "pleasant surprises "?

I'm hoping this comes back into style too!

That PRX is an awesome looking watch - I've been tempted to pick one up myself.

I need everyone to stop posting pictures and talking about how good the PRX is😂. Every time I see one I struggle to hold back from buying one. The only thing keeping me going is the thought of a smaller 35mm version.

In this video, they talk about precisely this:

Then, in the next one, they talk about how the Mexican Tissot site accidentally listed new models of the PRX in 35mm, and then quickly took the page down.  Maybe a clue that they're about to release the smaller version?

Love that model, but I'm worried it will look too big on my 6.5" wrist.

Would definitely recommend trying on before purchasing.  So do you have any models that you were surprised by when handling it in person?
