19mm/21mm Tropical Straps

Hi, I don't normally make sales pitches on WatchCrunch, but I'm really excited about our latest product, and I thought that it might be of interest to the community.

We now have our popular FKM Rubber Tropical Style Quick Release Straps in 19mm and 21mm sizes! There aren't many options out there for odd lug sizes, especially in FKM rubber, so I thought that I would make a post to share. These are available in 14 colors too (9 solid and 5 camo)!

For the next two days, you can also get 15% off by using the code TROP1921, or the link below:

Thanks for the feedback! With regards to fitting  20mm into 19mm lugs, these have quick-release spring bars, and they won't fit. Even if they did, it's far from ideal. Part of my goal is to allow people to quickly swap straps, so it's important to have the correct width.

Regarding the length, unfortunately for every request I get for shorter straps, I get another request for longer straps. Rubber molds are expensive to produce, so for most straps, we offer something that will work for almost anyone. It's not possible at this time for us to produce additional shorter or longer molds in 19mm, 20mm, 21mm, and 22mm and continue offering low prices.

These straps are also slightly longer because they have such a dramatic taper. Because the end is narrower, most people don't seem to mind it as much. On the plus side, usually smaller watches also have a shorter lug-to-lug measurement, which makes the strap effectively shorter.

Some StrapHabit Sailcloth straps do come with two lengths of tailpieces, as those molds are less expensive.

Just had a look. Really needed a clutch of 21mm straps for a few watches in my collection. The only thing that is stopping me from parting with my hard-earned is that the short side of the strap is < 80mm. Probably won't work on my odd-shaped wrist (I need 82-85mm on the buckle side, for it to work).

I'm sorry to hear that as well, although we're only a few mm off. I do have free returns if you'd like to test one out!
