I ordered this a while back and it arrived yesterday.  The company contacted me twice with info on delays and ended up giving me a couple of extras.  This is the X-15 model paying tribute to Neil Armstrong who was an X-15 Test Pilot before becoming an Astronaut.  Of course the name isn’t too bad either!😎

taking recency bias into account, how do you like it, what are your thoughts? Obviously it looks good (real good) and I have been looking at their skin diver and am interested in a few more data points.

So far with limited wear time I really like it.  It has a Miyota 8315 movement but I own more than a few watches with that movement and no issues.  The quality of mine is top notch.  Love the look of the dial and the Lume is above average.  The bezel looks busy but with us traveling Internationally it is nice to have that time zone feature.  Overall I’m very happy with the watch.

That is one sharp looking piece - I am not familiar with the brand but sound like some great history behind it, so will definitely have to do a bit of googling on my end 😂 It has a lot of vintage charm to it, and I quite like the bezel! Thanks for sharing 🤙

The Company is Wolbrook out of England but the brand started in the USA after WW2.  They produced hi quality tool watches that were used in Aviation and by Divers.  They started building the Watches in France during the 50‘s and flourished thru the Quartz’s  era which unfortunately resulted in their demise.  The Brand along with their Sister Brand Douglas was started back up in 2019 making modern mechanical watches again that pay homage to the original company.

Beautiful piece.  I too recently saw this watch and was very tempted to buy it.  However, I noted that it had the Miyota 8315 in it and changed my mind.   I have one other watch with a miyota 8000 series movement in it.  Love the look of the watch, but the "no hacking" kinda bugs me.

Actually the 8315 movement does hack and has quick set along with a 60 hour power reserve.
