Retired US Navy, living in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia USA. In addition to my watch sickness I also love to travel the backroads on my Harley.
I ordered this a while back and it arrived yesterday. The company contacted me twice with info on delays and ended up giving me a couple of extras. ...
The Company is Wolbrook out of England but the brand started in the USA after WW2. They produced hi quality tool watches that were used in Aviation and by Divers. They started building the Watches in France during the 50‘s and flourished thru the Quartz’s era which unfortunately resulted in their demise. The Brand along with their Sister Brand Douglas was started back up in 2019 making modern mechanical watches again that pay homage to the original company.
So far with limited wear time I really like it. It has a Miyota 8315 movement but I own more than a few watches with that movement and no issues. The quality of mine is top notch. Love the look of the dial and the Lume is above average. The bezel looks busy but with us traveling Internationally it is nice to have that time zone feature. Overall I’m very happy with the watch.
Thanks for the add, I’ve been a watch nerd for over 40 years. Looking forward to being part of the family.
