Omega - Years of Production ??
Hello all:
I have become a bit fascinated with the 2254.50 - the Peter Blake watch. However I have had a hard time nailing down the dates of production. Some sites say it was available in 1999 and others say it went for sale in 2000. Can anyone point me to a definitive source on this? In the alternative just tell me 1999 with authority 🙂. Looks like it exited the lineup around 2010?

The case shape was debuted in 1996 but it was 2000 for the chronometer I believe. It was discontinued in 2009.
I've been looking at these of late too - the 50th anniversary GMT specifically.
The big triangle and gladius hands are a good call back to the mil-spec Seamaster 300 (165.024) and the cases are more elegant than the current iterations imo. The lack of the HEV (on the GMT) helps too.
