Laco Flieger! Who owns one?

I want to save for a Laco. Who has one and what do you think?

I spent ages looking at Laco and Stowa and ended up with an Archimede 42H in Titanium. It was so good I bought another in stainless steel but now I would like a 42H B dial variant as well (most probably in titanium but maybe bronze)

I wish I had a macro lens to show you the blues steel hands they use… they’re incredible

i got 39mm aachen. its a great watch for the price they offer, however i think the lug width is too small 18mm. im using it almost everyday

I have several Lacos and love them all. I think right now my favorite is the Aachen Blaue Stunde. Something about the blue dial and gray strap just gets me.

I've had a Aachen 42 for the last two years. It keeps good time and other than the Asian homages, I think it's the Flieger bargain.

I have a black PVD Aachen 42. I love this watch and wear it often BUT the Aachen is an affordable Laco due to the Miyota movement inside and this is the one thing that lets this model down. Mine is an older model so no hacking (I can live with that) ghost complication on the crown (no date), but trying to set the hands and not have them move when you push the crown back in is an art. I forgive this as I paid sub £190 for a new one in the box and I genuinely love wearing the watch, but in my opinion the Miyota movement is pretty basic for the case it is in.

Love it

I’m definitely a Laco guy, have a number of them and have had a great experience. I’ve stuck to the ones with Swiss movements, so can’t really comment on the Miyota fitted ones.

Briefly had an Aachen 42, returned it immediately. Crappy noisy Miyota, wobbly crown, printing on the dial looked cheap, like a xerox of a dial but in a sickly green.

Should not be a $400 watch.

I don’t have one, but came across this deal earlier that may interest you!

I bought an Augsburg just under 2 weeks ago and am very happy with it. Some noise from the Miyota, but you have to be realistic about that. It's gaining 7 seconds a day, which I reckon is pretty good. I'd strongly recommend Laco

Love this brand. I have two Augsburg Blaue Stundes in 42mm and 39mm. Yes, I know...
