Sinn 556 - some combos and opinion

Since the day I saw it few years ago on display in an AD, I still believe 556 is one of the most versatile watches. Gada, strap monster, whatever u prefer. Perfect legibility, a bit sporty, superb dimensions and very good build/quality. Only missing attribute seems to be dressiness, though I’m getting less and less dressy as well 😀. Ps: Funny thing, h link bracelet has a diving extension (hence wr resistance of 200m)

Suede leather one is my favourite🫶

I tried the 556 on in Frankfurt where they have a store. On pictures, I really love the plain black dial without a date. When I saw it live, it looked a bit boring. BUT I was falling in love with the pearl dial. What do you think?

I really need to get a leather strap, looks fanstatic. At the moment rubber only 👌

·

Totally agree.

It has a timeless design & simplicity, an extremely versatile GADA. My grail 🍻

I’m pretty sure this will be my next purchase.

What’s the difference between the watch in the post, with the red seconds, and the one in Cado62’s post with a white seconds?

The posted one has red second hand and a date. Also it’s a black dial.

The one which I prefer has this pearlish dial which shines in different (most green) color.

You have to see it on the wrist. It’s stunning

Looks great but I tried one and it’s too small imo I would love an 856 or 836 tho

For a leather strap, try this black bison strap from Tuns Leather:

I think it would look deadly.

(Use their store online, not Etsy - you’ll save money. These are only about $45.00)

I reckon a Hirsch Robby strap with red stitching would work well

I think it looks best on the bracelet

I've been wearing mine on a leather NATO. Looks great!

·

It’s a TGV Strap Monster ™️ lol

Im not sure about that, maybe you will find this information on the website. As I know, they are using the SW 200-1

I really love them.

My 556i is incredibly versatile.

It dresses up nicely on a Sinn black leather with white stitching, and dresses down on the Sinn grey canvas.

Sinn straps are extremely good quality and not expensive.

·

My favourite is a sailcloth Zuludiver strap...

If I could change one thing about mine it would be the red second hand. It looks great

Wear mine on an Uncle jubilee or an Artum sail cloth not a fan of nato straps but it does look good

Had a 556a on the link it’s a great bracelet not sure if the new clasp will wear as well even though micro adjust is welcome
