Arrived fresh from Japan. Beautiful dial color, crappy strap (which I took off immediately). Thicker than my preference. Good lume as per other Seikos. We’ll see how it wears daily. I do have a bracelet from uncle straps, will try it on soon.

Congrats to your nice Alpinist! I know exactly what you Talking about the strap! I have a bracelet from Uncle and I am happy with it. However, the distance between the bracelet and the case could be better.

Nope, the one came with it was shiny and smooth. Looked like cheap faux leather.
