Watch photography in the wild

Took this photo sat at the promenade in Western Kowloon in Hong Kong, loving this Boldr, and I feel it fits the vibe of HK (although possibly not expensive enough ๐Ÿ˜‚). What other pictures of watches in the wild do people have? Let's get a photography thread going!

HK is my fatherโ€™s ancestral home. I remember it being oppressively hot and crowded. And yes, the Boldr is nice but definitely not expensive enough. When my relatives visited last, they asked me if I was doing ok (even though I owned a house twice the size of their high rise apartments and 2 newer cars). I think it was the Seiko I was wearing that day ๐Ÿคฃ

It definitely is oppressively hot, although not as bad at night (still not great, especially not for a countryside British lad ๐Ÿ˜‚), and very very crowded. Seen more Rolexes on people's wrists in 3 days here than I've ever seen in my life. I was lucky enough to win free flights out here with my girlfriend, because otherwise it's definitely not the place for students on a budget!

Interestingly, I'm not sure what percentage of the watches you see on people's wrists are genuine. There are streets filled with vendors hawking high quality replicas (aka fakes) all over Kowloon side. They're not even trying to hide it. I've seen taxi drivers rocking Daytonas and I'm shook ๐Ÿ˜‚

Oh yeah, I'm staying in Kowloon, up towards the north of Kowloon in the more budget friendly bit, been to 2 street markets already, and another soon, all full of fake watches, even saw a bloke trying to flog fake swatches ๐Ÿ˜‚
