NSPA! New Strap Part Alert

After getting the most recent San Martin, was as always amazed at the finishing and overall quality for a watch costing little over 100 EUR, but a small niggle emerged as the bracelet clasp had 4 micro adjustment holes but no on the fly adjustment (as my other SM came factory with).

Niggle became an itch, and let's visit their AliX store, pull the trigger, and voilà - a new clasp ordered.

A week later this small part arrived, was promptly fitted into the watch that, as a result, stepped I up another level on the perfect scale, now for a c. 150 EUR piece.

Really happy as it turned out, now have a watch that can comfortably remain on the bracelet for a full year!

I see we’re getting sophisticated with the acronyms now LMAO. Glad you’re happy with the new clasp my friend. It’s always nice when part investment works out really well at the end there’s nothing more disappointing than when you buy a piece for the watch and it doesn’t fit.

Sure Ash, this one was the one I bought: https://a.aliexpress.com/_ExUMMtJ

For my watch had to pick the pin bracelet option, but you also have screw version. As with all Ali buys, scour for coupons, coins etc...

I have the same watch and love it. Do you find that the upgrade is worth it? I think the OTF adjustment is cool, but it only takes about 15 seconds to adjust with the traditional clasp.

Only my view but yes.

Say this as for example an hour inside an office/mall that is heated or even a bigger/longer meal can make the wrist slightly swell and the watch to start feeling tight.

Sure I can wear it a bit looser from the start/ carry a tool for the (indeed quick) adjustment, but this one is just quicker and fully tool-less, allowing for a perfect fit at all times. That + the fact that adding coupons and coins led to the clasp costing less than 40, it was a no brainer for me, but of course, may be in a minority with this reduced tolerance in terms of wrist feeling!

Damn, the clasp is 16mm. The search continues for an 18mm option.

Appreciate your help 🤝

Thanks. This is the same as the strap code which is rather bulky. Just bought a San Martin clasp from their website for $20 lol.

Great Ash! Happy you were able to find one in the end!

Excellent time piece bracelet goes well with that watch.
