And after seeing so many...starting the year with my end of 2023 State of the Collection!

So 2023 was a year of so many great things for me - became a husband, about to become a father - and coincidentally the year my watch interest became a bit more raging, having to concede on becoming a novice collector.

A few older staples in the collection, as the Longines Chronograph I got at time of my graduation, and was on wrist for my wedding and the Breitling Aerospace I inherited from my father (together with a Chronospace currently out for a longer than expected service).

Then come the 2023 acquisitions, ranging from a used Hamilton Jazzmaster Open heart, a nifty little Seiko SNXS, some affordable branded quartzes, like the other Casioak, the Timex Marlin Chrono and then the Ali promotion "had to get them": The San Martin pelagos homage and the small seconds Seagull double disk.

It was a bit hectic this year, and 2024 will have to be a lower spending year, but quite like the current state of the collection (not done by any means).

Ah yes and in a way to "justify" the spending, kept a tracker and in the end, I ended the year on a +1k when balancing the watch spending with the quitting smoking savings. Of course no profits were made, just helps me frame things a bit more on my head.

A great 2024 to the whole WC community - another great thing I found in 2023!
