Does anyone know this person?
This person was making multiple comments in a row on my "Are you abstaining from wearing Russian watches?" post. They posted a picture of a watch that has Ukrainian president Zelensky on the dial. I commented that it was weird that a Russian made it. This person comes back with a comment "Are you trolling me?" Then goes on to talk about a Russian ship that doesn't float made by Ukraine. I went to answer them and I couldn't. I tried to go to their page and couldn't.
I tried to answer with "No I'm not trolling. I thought that it was weird that Russia would make a watch with a Ukraine president on it. I didn't know anything about a ship. If I'm asking too many questions it's because I like to learn. If one doesn't ask questions, one doesn't learn. Thank you my friend ☺ You are teaching me some things today."
I don't know if I were blocked or did they delete their account. Can someone check for me and let me know? I will greatly appreciate it.

I have been collecting watches for a while now. I have so many watches that I wear a different one every day. Cheap to expensive, if I like how it looks I wear it.

I just had someone do that on my last post, and I was thinking, "Why don't you just post one long comment instead of 10 small ones in a row?" I was all set to block him, but I relented. It must be a phone thing and how one sentence equals one comment for some people. Used to happen on Facebook too because of the return key.

The private messages make it to a point to where you can't see what is being typed. Otherwise they shouldn't have problems. They were posting pictures so I understand that.

There are so many annoyances that have cropped up since using this forum that it makes me despair of how people have managed to use the internet for nearly 3 decades now and still don't know how to comment properly or appropriately.
Ever since the glorified message board that is Twitter, it's like we've gone back in time. Live chatrooms where all the silliness disappeared when you logged out were much more fun. Now everything is stored for someone to prod with a stick when they are bored even years after you'd forgotten about ever posting.

That is no joke. I quit Twitter a long time ago. It was tiring making a comment or something that wasn't political then being warned or or corrected by the fake fact checkers. I tell a joke and they fact check it.
I don't go on Facebook much anymore because of it too. Not long ago I had a memory of a meme that popped up. I got suspended for a meme, in my memories, from 9 years prior. I made the formal complaint and all but was suspended for 3 days. It cost me the sales of 3 watches.
On here the only thing that bothers me is people using the words to, too, and two. 😂

Yeah, she lives up to her username. She's admitted to blocking several people*, always for some perceived slight that I guess makes sense to her. Having a lot of problems with people in this friendly place, one might want to see what the common link is in all these petty squabbles.

Yeah, once the "intersectional politics" took over Twitter along with all the self-promoters, it was time for me to bail. I found myself semi-cancelled anyway, plus a lot of my friends actually died, so it was meaningless.
I had the same trouble with Facebook too, especially getting banned for memes and just saying normal things. I even had my first account that I'd had since 2006 shut down for "spam" when I didn't ever post any spam. Apparently something I posted got flagged in TGV's awful Facebook group by all his minions about 6 years ago, and that was the end of that account. I can't abide that group.
On here, most of us are easy-going rather silly people who collect cheap watches, and we all get along well. But there is still a constant influx of people for whom "watches are serious business" and they have no sense of humour whatsoever because "luxury" watches are their bread and butter. So whereas we laugh at the foolishness, they get rather upset about it all. And never the twain will meet.

I don't have a Rolex. I don't have any Rolex ADs within at least 60 miles of me and I barely leave the house anyway. I'm not going to buy one online either because that's just throwing money away by giving it to those former used-car salesmen turned watch dealers. Plus I actually don't even like Rolex despite the homages I have which look somewhat like them. I only started collecting them for something to do, and I don't even wear them.
But yes, just about every watch forum tries to make you feel inferior if you don't have a Rolex. At my age, I don't see the point.
I traded a used Dodge Ram pickup truck for mine. It was used too. A 142300 Turquoise OP. It was a $4000 watch at most used. My friend that owns the jewelry store wanted the truck for his son. He is more of a grey market sales in a way. He has a jewelry kiosk in 4 or 5 different malls. Big kiosks not little ones. Anyway He seen me checking it out and offered the trade even up. The value of it skyrocketed because of the rare color.
