New Tissot PR516 Chrono (mechanical and quartz

Tissot has introduced a new mechanical and quartz chrono, they say based on a 1970 model. To me, it looks like a Daytona. It is a good look watch with the Daytona three sub dials. The mechanical movement is a manual wind bases off of a 7753. Looks like a Tissot that I would get. The manual cost a little over $1800 while the quartz ranges from $495 to $550. To me, it seems like a reasonable price for this watch. What do you all think.

If Tissot could remove the rotor & make this watch 13.7mm thick why couldn't Hamilton do it with their mechanical chronograph? A little odd, I must admit. Looks nice & compact on their site.

I can feel the "the top 10 best rolex daytime alternatives for [specific price range]" but atleast it doesn't have the useless 24h subdial

·

Looks great, dimensions are perfect; but why does it have a display back?

Or am I the only one who thinks this rotorless 7750 is ugly?

·

Looks very cool. The pop of blue and orange in the Mechanical version does it for me. #Want

Really like the auto

The design is pretty cool. 13.7 thickness is definitely a deterrent for me on the mechanical model, but kudos to Tissot for removing the rotor on the base automatic calibre... I can't stand when brands release a 15+mm automatic chronograph.

Quartz models looks like it could get some traction... would be cool to see and all gold tone model.

Mineral glass back too…. In my experience mineral casebacks are very prone to micro scratches

Looks great for the price!

I really dig the design of the mechanical version, though I can't tell the dimensions from the website as it lists is as 41mm wide and 41mm in length, which obviously isn't the case (it also says it's an automatic movement in the specs though it's clearly a manual-wind--c'mon, Swatch...).

The dials on the quartz models are really oddly proportioned and lack the pops of color that make this interesting to me.

I actually like the look of this! Tissot is a "hit or miss" with me and I would definitly like to see this in the flesh.

Wow. It’s a nice watch and I think it’s fairly priced. Hope to see more color variations in the future. A solar quartz would also be nice

Already got one 😎

Love it. It's the mechanical. The quartz has that weird subdial layout like the MoonSwatch
