Casio ProTrek PRG-650Y
I picked this up a few months ago and forgot to mention it. I have another Casio ProTrek that is a JDM my wife gave me back in 1994. I think it's the original model.
Anyways, I was planning to buy a Casi-oak but than I saw a line or ProTreks and decided I really like this one. My old ProTrek has many of the functions that this one does but the addition of a digital compass is going to be very useful in the mountains. I also love how this watch lights up and it's a good world timer. This has quickly become my beater.
