I Got A New Casio G Shock GW9400Y-1
This is the G-Shock Rangeman Mater of G-Land. I got it because it was in a shiny case at the department store. That yellow and black color scheme was calling me. Just fyi…don’t pay full price when you have “friends and family” in a department store getting you a deal.
As you can see, it’s a fat watch. So fat that I took a face crop picture that would be the envy of dating app avatars.
I’m not much of a spec guy. The best feature for me is the solar power. I have a mudmaster that already has dead batteries. I had it replaced less than a year ago. But I think that watch dude that replaced the battery was a bit sketchy.

Other than the fact that I discovered I have been living below sea level all my life, I’m looking forward to a lifetime with this amazing watch!

I got mine recently - also at a great price - and I love this watch. Tried a MudMaster a while back and it was way too big for me. This is big but not quite as big and the stand out feature for me is just how light it is. For all the kit and spec it has I barely know it’s there. My favourite of the GShocks that I have.
