Tudor Monochrome Is Most Impressive Thus Far at W&W

Watches and Wonders is open for 2024. Tudor has been the gift that keeps on giving since last year. But now big wrist enthusiasts may be checking in for the final time for that elusive black dial diver. The Monochrome 41mm in a five link has to be the one. I definitely have to sell my Tudor 41mm 2nd Gen. It’s that special!

(*fyi, I hacked these shots via YouTube)

When was the last time we have seen an attainable black diver on a jubilee? Don’t answer that, you probably know of one. I just don’t…

But once the dust settles, this could conclude a lot of Sub seekers. You still want your Sub. But the act of settling has had the best representation in its closest form that I have seen. The wait for a Sub at the AD will not be so urgent. I’m sure this will be a huge hit and a big win for Tudor….. and Rolex is sitting in the back laughing at us minions in the process.👁

I’d call this great brand management on Rolex’s part to appeal to those of us unwilling to play the waiting game, or much more often, that see Tudor rightly (in my opinion) as a viable, legitimate alternative to an overpriced Submariner.

This configuration in 39mm (or less) would be heavenly!

I think it’s gonna come soon. I would speculate specs and power reserve could be similar to the new 58GMT. METAS minus 5 hours. I hope they do.
