Cork straps. Anybody tried them?

Discovered cork fabric today and immediately wondered how it would hold up as a strap. There are a few on Etsy. Curious to see if anyone has opinions.

I can't imagine that Cork would stand up to too much heat and sweat before it becomes stinky and filthy, but having never owned a Cork strap I have no real idea.

Never had and probably never will. I feel the durability isn't there.

I have one. I only wore it a short time but didn’t like it on the watch it was on. I took it off and haven’t found another watch to try it on so no word on durability. It’s a cool look but it needs the right watch.

I share your concern.

I've never heard of cork straps before, but I'd be very interested in learning more about them. We have cork flooring, and when my wife first suggested it as a flooring option, I thought she was nuts. Turns out it's pretty much an ideal material for flooring - cool in the summer, warm in the winter, sound absorbing, wears like iron and looks great. If cork works anywhere near as well for straps as it does for floors, it could be a winner.

I like them. I bough the lighter one from ebay (low quality)and Martu (high quality) did the darker one.
