And the collection continues to grow!

Ok, ok….I’ve said it before, the last new watch post is always the final (but one) addition to the collection for the rest of the year. It’s really hard though to keep to that resolution……and I’m sure many of you reading this will feel EXACTLY the same.

So the (brief) story behind this is that whilst looking for reviews on a Dan Henry 1945 I stumbled across one for his 1964 piece. I was certainly drawn to that, especially when I saw it on a Barton white/black elite strap. But I really liked the 1945…..decisions, decisions. Having tracked down a 1964 that a good friend had, and the fact it’s my birth year (so you all know how old I am now 🙄), it had to be the 64.
It arrived today….I’d already got the Barton in, in readiness. It’s looks fabulous on the leather strap and awesome on the Barton.

If I hadn’t had such a crappy day at work that drained the use of my eyes and my energy, I‘d love to get it on the rice of beads bracelet. I’m just too tired to mess with those fiddly spring bars and will end up scratching it…..it took all my effort just to change the quick release springs on these two.

This is not a hobby, it’s an addiction…..how do you control this desire to keep your collection under control?!

I don't... which is why I have over 60 now.  Truth be told, I'd like to sell about 30 of them if I could.  I have a watch box on my nightstand that holds 30 and those are the only ones that get worn anymore...

Is this your first vent into the micro brand section? Dan Henry is the one that appealed to me most of the micro brands I really like the 1963 may pull the trigger one day 😂

I looked at my collection with the idea I’d sell a few but only managed to get one on eBay 🙄……and that will probably not be relished if it doesn’t sell first time around. I like all my watches….I don’t want to sell any 😭

Dan Henry gets some really great reviews thats why I looked at what he’d got. To be honest, and if I could afford it (which I can’t) I’d take all his issues.

Then don't sell any!

I used to worry about having 'too many' watches, but if I enjoy them all and they don't cause me financial problems then why worry? 😁
