A really big shout out for Poljot24.de
Ever since I bought my SNK, which came on a bracelet, I’ve been trying to find the right strap for it. I’ve already posted some examples, and those that have read some of my other posts will know I seem to have this on going battle with some of my watches in trying to find just the right strap.
A month or so ago I bought a Seagull 1963 (again post is on here) fTom Julian at Poljot24, which in itself was one of the best buying experiences I have had for a very long time. That came with a RIOS BIO Inzell strap and was the most supple strap I had ever come across; I fell in love with it straight away.
Lightbulb moment……a black one would go perfect with the SNK…..so I dropped Julian a note and without payment, he posted me one out. Obviously I wasn’t expecting it for free but wondered how he would charge me - I thought maybe he would just use my previous payment details at some point. No….the strap was sent with an invoice which I immediately paid. The point of it is, how many retailers would trust their customers enough to send the goods before payment? And I know you might think, well it was only £25, but that really is not the point…….
I‘ve got to say, Julian’s customer service is impeccable. Not just with this transaction, but I had quite an email conversation with him before buying the 1963, and he filled me with confidence. I’ve worked in customer services for 35 years so I know what I’m talking about.
I am so pleased with the strap. It might be just black, but it’s perfect. I have certainly hit the nail on the head with this choice.

Totally agree. Customer service always tends to be negative when shared, that’s why I’m a big believer in giving praise where praise is due.
Don't they look great on black?
Canvas strap on SNK is not great so I too changed it to a brown stitched leather. I took off the original signed buckle and added it to the new strap. Much better!
