NWA Vintage Timex!
Was wandering round Nottinghams charity shops and came across this, a 1989 children's Timex. I bought this thing solely for the personality this thing has.
This is 25mm across, and 29mm lug to lug, with 12mm lug width. I know, absolutely massive. I personally prefer smaller pieces, but I know that's the fashion these days.
It reminded me of a flik flak, but less kiddy if that makes sense. The logo is also different as well, slightly italicised and I much prefer it to the 'normal' logo.
The strap, my god the strap. Feels like plastic, and itchy at that. But it's original,and lasted 33 years, so it's certainly durable. Keepers are long gone, though, so I might try my hand at sewing some fabric on.
I got home and my younger sisters eyes lit up. So, we're sharing it until she's older then it'll become hers.
And now, more of my collection is vintage, so I guess I'm a vintage guy now. Go figure

It's an unusual design,looks like a learning watch with the inner dial. Great find.
