Hello everyone,
I'd like to write a little article on my website about Canadian watch brands and I want to hear what the people have to say.
What's your favourite brands (if any)?
Most wanted on your list?
Heard of and want to know more?
Would love to hear your thoughts and opinions and hopefully discover new brands from my home country!
Let the suggestions begin.

The Canadian brands I'm most familiar with are:
Marathon: lots of military history, id love to pick up a mechanical GSAR sometime.
Halios: a BC based micro brand. My home province, woot.
VanBanner watches. Another Canadian micro with unique designs
Heron watches, another Canadian micro brand. Their designs don't speak to me personally, but they're worth a spot on the list.
Momentum
These two I discovered today:
Vieren watches, also don't like personally, from an aesthetic standpoint. I don't know anything about the brand except they're Canadian designed. I believe higher end fashion watch? Not that that's inherently a bad thing.
Wilk Watchworks, a sort of customisation house? I only just discovered them today.
I can't think of one Canadian watch brand...
Does Drake produce watches?
Are canadian watches called Oky Doxy?
Are they soooo polite that they never tell you you're late?
Are they shock proof because nothing shocking EVER happens to them?
Do they look like American watches, but just a little weirder?
Do they have the Queen's face on them?
Do they think they're French watches and act all superior?
Is servicing free?
Is there a kind of Canadian watch that looks a bit asian?

You forgot that they smell of maple syrup and their straps are made from recycled lumberjack parkas.
The lubrication is poutine sauce.
P.s.: Canadian bacon is not a thing in Canada.

I wish I could have the disposable income to include one of each (Marathon, Helios, Heron and Momentum) in my collection.
Whitby Watch Company.
Whitby Watch Company.
Was gonna say it! Lived there for a spell love that little place lol
Heron looks like they make interesting watches. I think marathon is also Canadian, but I've heard there are some minor QC issues with some of their watches.
Whitby Watch Company.
Hoping to pick up a Whitby 39mm pilot soon.
What is a good brand for Canadian watches? Doesn’t have to be luxury to be good.

Marathon is the best known, and they make quality watches with a deep history and military provenance. Heres my beloved MSAR 36mm.
Very nice! I love that they use tritium gas for the lume
Van Banner 👌🏼
Very nice dial!
Has Redwood been mentioned?

York and Front Watch Co. They have a really nice looking watch. The Burrard. Toronto micro brand.
Another one we learn about!
I posted last week about my Oris Big Crown Pointer Date review video... but I don't want to be too spammy! Would love for you to check it out! You can click the YT icon in my profile here, or just search for "RockyMtnStyle" on YT and i'll show up. I just started doing more watch stuff, and I've mostly been doing boots, jackets, and other menswear.
Will definitely check it out, thanks for sharing!
This Trintech auto, has been in my collection for the past 10 years and still love it!
I also have a quartz chrono and would highly recommend both with fast shipping to the UK.

I’ve made a post on my page regarding Canadian watch brands. There are over 15 brands. After I’ve listed each one by name, I included a link to each brands website. I own 6 Canadian microbrand watches myself. Please take a look….😊
